hi guys so like. you know those aesthetic rentries w the fancy ass vague unreadable cursive font shit. what. is that. what is that. where did that come from and how is it done and why is it populra i can't get over it. where are you guys GETTING THAT FROM?

YOURE SOOOO REAL LIKE WHATS THE POINT. I CANT READ IT DAWG. and then a bajillion different overlays get piled on and makes the text even harder to read. and everything is made the same hue with varying tints so it looks really bland and sometimes the layering doesn't even make sense like why is That Specific Thing there and why is it on top of That Other Thing????? and its like. idk. idk I'm being a mega hater rn but its really just. not appealing! from a design sense it looks like you don't really know what you're doing. i've never liked it, idk... it's only ever mildly appealing at best...

sorry i've kind of been thinking this for a LONG time now but I never really cared enough to talk about it but I DID care enough for it to give me an ick. like I'm not saying you can NEVER use overlays or NEED to make your stuff have multiple colors, but. like. do things in moderation. moderation is good... like when used sparingly they actually look really good sometimes. and monochromatic color schemes CAN look great. just. not really how some rentries do it
