I read your mini fic thread about Kaveh subtly preventing Alhaitham from participating in the interdarshan competition and now I’m wondering if he volunteered himself to be his darshans representative so if any accidents do happen it’ll happen to him instead of someone he knows TT
oh no... 😭😭 anon this is so good. akademiya scholars are known to have high pride, and kshahrewar fell from grace after pir kavikavus passed away. imagine the members of kshahrewar are desperate to get their glory back so they would do /anything/ to win the championship. and it scared kaveh because he had seen this before. the kshahrewar representative would bear so much burden of expectations, and it would crush them if they fail. kaveh probably thinks, "yeah, i have nothing else to lose even if i fail anyway," so he signed up... UWEUWE HE'S SO PRECIOUS
