I don't read/watch dunmeshi, but after seeing the discourse I have a genuine question: is Kabru token nonwhite character in a cast of crackers who's kinda meh but fandom will act like he's the second coming and anything less than considering him a paragon in a heretical act and while the reaction could be valid in some cases it's prob moreso the fault of ppl stanning a white ass piece of media & expecting it to not be white as hell?
I ask cuz that has happened like 283728 times and this feels like that.
I'm just an anime only but kabru is pretty interesting so far! he seems to have a pretty big role later in the manga as well, so I wouldn't quite say this applies to him, but I can see why you'd think that given the cast is mostly white. I'm probably not the best to ask tho bc the anime really hasn't shown much of him yet 😞
