Guests have not been confirmed yet as we are still discussing our options. You will be able to see our guests introduced on our socials once we have invited and confirmed our selections!

Hello! Contributors can choose whether to do a single spread piece, or 2 single page pieces. The content would be focused on the character with their weapon, but there is freedom for artists to decide how they'd like to showcase that in their piece (e.g. setting, mood, story). Mods will be in contact throughout the creation process to help guide artists with the content of their pieces!

We do not expect anyone to create new pieces simply for the application, and it will not count negatively against you if you do not have a flavour text sample as long as your prose abilities are well-demonstrated with your other pieces.

However, if you feel it will help to showcase your abilities in a stronger way, you are welcome to write an example flavour text to submit as a sample.

Yes, we will be inviting some guest artists.

Based on the number of responses we received during the interest check, we felt that the level of interest was not enough to support a physical zine. A digital zine with physical merch was the best option we decided would be realistically possible for us.

Outside of severely problematic behaviour (racism, homophobia, etc.), we will not be taking into account the content that contributors choose to create outside of the zine. Applicants must be at least 16 by the date applications close. However, any monetary compensation will only be provided to contributors 18 and up, at the time of compensation.

No, we will not be including writers or any fic content. We may invite a few guest writers to create short flavour text to accompany artworks.
