You don't have to answer this, haha, but I wondered if you are interested in reading a rather old western novel that contains a character that reminds me very much of Geto. It's one of my favorite books, actually, and that character is the reason I re-read it so much. It's called 'East of Eden' by John Steinbeck. In short, it's a story that heavily draws parallels to the bible, specifically Abel and Cain. Adam Trask is one of the main characters and he has a Chinese servant in his household simply named Lee. After Adam falls into a depression because his wife leaves him, Lee raises his twin boys. Other things happen as well, but I mostly skip it whenever I read because I love Lee the most. He is very maternal-coded, he's the voice of reason and caution.

I feel like s1 Viktor would have one of those high risk pregnancies, it has a lot of angst and body horror potential (I think pregnancy in general has a lot of body horror potential, what do you mean you're developing a whole human being inside your uterus wtf? Sry I'm getting off topic). But yeah I think it would make Jayce even more desperate to find a cure, we could even play the extend to what Jayce would do. And I think there would be a lot abortion discussion, I also think Viktor wouldn't want to have a child in his conditions. But also it could be like a cryptic pregnancy and when they find out it'd be too late (don't know if that conditional was correctly written lol, sry English is not my first language etc)...
In the other side with commune Viktor, I think that would be all it takes too make Jayce fail and join Viktor's side. J would feel so guilty and he wants V so much, he's the love of his life and the kindest being he ever knew, how can Viktor do bad? And it would be such a toxic and romantic relationship,,, my mouth waters just to think of it.
But with machine herald... ufff I feel like it would be the most twisted and interesting one, like Viktor would find his child perfect, like everyone should aspire to be like it. And he would become so overprotective, controlling and abusive in that way society loves to romantize parent-child relationships and Viktor would love this child and do fucked up stuff. And J would be caught up in all that, just trying to safe their child, give the opportunity Viktor didn't have, feeling extremely guilty for failing V and also their child. Also this version is the only one that would make Jayce evaluate the possibility of eliminating V even when he's pregnant. But ultimately he wouldn't be able to do it, bc again he lives V so much, he can do this to him not like this, there must still be another way...

preg vik headcanon!! i like to think that he for the most part is pretty independent, he accepts jayces touch/advances with little to no exception and loves it but isnt the one who typically initiates. however after he gets preg he’s basically glued to jayces side and can never get enough as far as physical touch. following him around the house, always pressing his neck and face up against him when theyre standing or sitting together, holding onto his arm when they go out when he previously wasnt into pda…
