i've been postponing answering this questions because i wanted to collect my thoughts ahah

so...where do i even start. ofc his overall story has me in clutches, i love medieval fantasy and i love the rich history of mondstadt where his presence is everywhere in small events that you have to read through and catch by yourself. the first time we see him in game is also great - it's not in deadly tension as in case with raiden who you pretty much ready to fight and not in a "let's work together while i'm kinda lying to you" with morax (no shade) but rather you get to see venti's serious, real side where it's nobody else around. it contrasts perfectly with his gentle side, he's like a classic jester type in media where you know he can and will prank you but instead of proving that by doing anything direct and harmful you get this from stories about his "misdeeds". instead he showers you with soothing words and caring actions. i also like the fact that he cares the most - people misread him as lazy and avoiding but he's literally the guy trying to solve the problem all alone when we start his archon quest. we get to see his actions being deeply integrated in monds culture as well - he singlehandedly controls terrain structure and climate in mond, making sure his people still have everything they need for comfort living; i love how he devotes himself to helping heroes of each grand trial of new era for mond and never acknowledges himself as an acting figure. i also love how insanely smart he is still behind all that air of foolery, as he is preserving important historical events from irmunsul with making them into folklore (BP narrative included). there was also a thing that got him badmouthed in the fandom after first windblume with barbara situation but i found all his choices being purely logical while still maintaining safety for his people. if you don't remember what i'm talking abt i can elaborate ahfhf. like a pure bard he also possesses insane charisma that lets him befriend literally anything and anyone, dragons and witches and even stars

i love how humane he feels while not being human as well - he cares about us and our happiness in a godly, protecting way, but then you get to see him genuinely melancholic and upset about missing his old dead friends and you just wanna protect him in return :( it gets deeper once you realize that our bond with him is truly special - we've met him even before we think we've met him, he cared about us while we were sleeping (not 100% confirmed yet but i'm never wrong), he names some locations in mond in our honour and he constantly seeks us out alone, going so far as to ask us to leave paimon behind..needy much huh
aaand ofc i love his design, whites and blacks and teals are my favourite colours in character designs and he can look both goofy and cute and absolutely holy the next second. his eyes are the colour of the sky- i should stop jhfg.
