Not because of the power dynamics, but because he really enjoys it(if you see him as amab). They just do whatever feels good for them, but Kafka is more assertive and bold
i’m not against the hc itself. it's just that most times i’ve seen people talk about it they act as if it absolves the ship of cisheteronormativity and inherently makes it more palatable for and/or relatable to queer audiences which is far from the case. i believe kafka is more confident in understanding and vocalizing her desires compared to blade since he's less equipped to navigate physical and emotional intimacy
i often see people misuse assertive and bold for behaviors that are aggressive, coercive and persistent so i’m hesitant to have this discussion anonymously
