after your twits i realized how being invested at least a bit in jh is very Interesting experience /gen but also kinda neg. At least for me lmao like at first glance I fully believed that 1.2 would be a peak for them. it wasn't and with each knew thing I was like "ahaha surely that's end for Canon for them" and then another thing dropped. even now, I keep thinking how probably little they gonna be as a ship in patch or in the event even after basically a year later there is a solid basis in the text for them (which any ship doesn't need to be fun and have fun ofc. but jhj Has It) which is so weird. like even if as rarepair of whatever jhj has enough already and clearly writers want to establish a relationship between jy and dh for future story and in future interactions will happen but idk my brain is in denial or something
we're nowhere near over with their story! i am seated and i hope you are too. and i get what you mean... there is an all out homosexual feast here and it isn't a "oh i guess you can put them in this event together" or a "hmm let's give them official art" they have this yaoi on their board with red string tying up plot points. everything that is going on with jing yuan and dan heng right now as of this patch is that they have decided to interfere in each other's life no matter the consequences. i will save you, you will save me, is central to them. jing yuan demands dan heng's presence like he is owed it and dan heng follows him like a night creature at the pond lured by the sound of a lute, volunteering even before he realizes he was already roped in. jing yuan apologizes, and dan heng nods it off, babe, oaf, you inept dragon, he just put you in the shackling prison. again. and you went in with your chest puffed out ready to defend his honour. he freed you once and you think he's going to do it again? really? that's all? being freed once has you acting like a pet!!!! do you like that? do you want to kiss jing yuan. i know
