I haven't thought about this tbh but let's see...if there's one thing Godric regretted for awhile was not finding his sister sooner since he found her when he went to Garlemald for the first time in Endwalker. Like you finally found your sister after how many years of thinking she's dead, BUT THE WORLD IS ABOUT TO END SO!!!! I like to think that Godric gradually became more pessimistic throughout EW and his mind was just filled with many regrets and doubts, my boy's depressed
