He’s meant to observe and assist in restoring vanibot to full functionality, but he shes up getting emotionally invested. Starts sneaking in to the storage site to get his own insights away from prying eyes. Vani doesnt trust him at first, but they end up making a deal where vani will tell him whatever he wants to know and let noé study him in exchange for help breaking out. Noé also helps keep him functional when he’s outside the lab. Theyre held together out of necessity and fall in love while vanitas establishes some agency for himself figures out how to be more human-like.
