She's more of a secretary and the tools come from her father who is an ex first generation "moonman" surgeon, and his gear is set to self-destruct as soon as his heart stops beating, the moment he dies so will the business and while his tools are not in their prime and half his surgeries fail he's still the best actually licensed surgeon around which makes him pretty untouchable.

She's got a big liking for collecting and watching movies! They're just a bit difficult to come by since so many dvds are too worn out and vhs tapes that work virtually don't exist anymore. Other than that, she's very chatty and of course has a very big liking for old world heavily processed and preserved meals. But generally, she'll drop on top of an old beaten-up mattress after a day of almost dying.
