ill include an outline as an example! but yes, i start with an outline that gets more and more detailed as i come up with ideas, and i follow it depending on the flow of the fic im writing! sometimes it works, sometime it doesnt. an outline for a chaptered fic gets INCREDIBLY DETAILED and changes a lot. i normally write the chapter in order from beginning to end and each section gets at least 3-6 rounds of editing~ but i always make sure i have the ENTIRE fic outlined before i start posting it so i make sure im committed to the idea before i start posting. that’s my surefire to make sure im really sold on an idea before i start a chaptered fic!!!
