OOOOOUUUUUEEEUEGGRRB where do i even start i hope you’re prepared for a long ass ramble cause idk how to use words properly and i feel too many things for them ajsjakkxksfrosos

so like on a very surface level i just think they look really nice together design wise … i’m also such a sucker for rowdy/ more energetic “bad” guy x calm pretty good guy JAKZKWKDKEK

but then the more i thought about it i actually think they’re own stories and morals and just what they believe in compliment one another really well. Red velvet is portrayed as one of the evil guys, but he’s not really defined as being a bad guy deep down. He cares so deeply for his comrades and loves his cake hounds with everything he has … He was cast aside by everyone due to him being part cake and now he’s fighting for a world where the cookies and cakes can live together as equals. He also seems to have this insecurity deep down that he’s unlovable or feels slightly inferior due to his cake arm from what he went through when he was younger .. even if he doesn’t really wanna admit that.

And then on the flip side we have pure vanilla, who feels a lot of guilt about what happened in the war, according to him he felt like he didn’t do enough and failed … so he also has some sort of unresolved feelings of inferiority.. UEEEE .. but pure vanilla accepts and loves everyone with all he has and just wants everyone to live peacefully together and that’s what he fights for. Which … is essentially the same, in a way, to what Red velvet is fighting for. Red velvet is scarred and traumatized by not being loved and accepted and pure vanilla loves and accepts everyone .. he wouldn’t judge or treat red velvet any different for his cake arm but instead focus on how Rv isn’t actually a bad guy …

IDK IDK I DONT KNOW THEYRE JUST SO !!!! the both love their little animals … red velvet likes how cute the cake hounds are … pure vanilla cute too HAHHA they also have so much potential for angst and darker themes like .. opposing sides, enemies (?) to lovers, pure vanilla can save red velvet or on the flip red velvet can corrupt vanilla HWKXKOWKD MAN !!! also chiffon said that pure vanilla was soft and yellow .. and had warm arms …. AAAAAAAJAKDKE so the cake doggies love him already im gonna cry
