hmm :) the only designs I've ever sold were the collab adopts, so I may not be the best person to ask this particular question..! but I suppose, if you're confident in your designing ability, other people should be able to pick up on the quality of your work. I'd suggest putting your best effort into the presentation of the design, create an "atmosphere" around it in the background & text caption... I know very popular artists who are known for their adopts tend to stick to a very particular presentation style lining up designs on sheets using their own bases, but since my style is dependent on shape language I'm not fond of doing it that way X) lean into your own interests! and try not to focus so much on "selling", but rather... enjoy the process of "creating".

This ask has been heavy on my mind since I saw it… I wondered how I should respond to you, what kind of answer you were looking for, and in the end all I can say is this:

Do the “great many things”. You want to be my devoted toy, lathered in my darkest attention? Earn it, then! I can’t resist playing with someone who’s fun, even in the quiet moments. There is no guide to follow, no foolproof actions to lure me in. Just show me how it affects you, to have my presence haunting your thoughts. I’ll hear you out, however you must understand I have an extremely high attention to detail… so if you successfully gravitate me, you’d better be prepared. ;) hahaha… on a more “down to earth” note though, I value friendly interaction greatly. I’ve been hurt platonically so often that I’m reluctant to trust openly these days… but I still want to have friends. So, if you want my violence that bad, you’ll have to play nice until I decide you’re trustworthy. Good luck!

I love seeing what makes each person different… so show me who you are! I have a relatively easy time gauging compatibility based on interests, like music and artwork. My style of talking mainly consists of questions, but it’s hard to keep up conversation with someone who isn’t interested in getting to know who I am as well.

What is your reason for wanting to interact with me, hm? I love making new friends… but if you want me to be drawn to you, you must have an aspect of yourself that I find highly interesting. Unfortunately, as much as my fictional interests shape who I am, the reality of my humanity is more important. So… don’t try to show me something that isn’t really you in hopes of catching my attention. Individuality is my favorite aspect of real life.

And I will be honest… if I find you CUTE, you have a higher chance of getting me to let my walls down. I also love sharing compliments, if you’re thoughtful about my work I’m more likely to want to look into you. Be warned though, if you reaaaally fit my type, I won’t be able to hold back my violent/obsessive thoughts. Hahaha… hope this inspires you ;) don’t be intimidated. Just approach me openly and honestly, the same way you did when you thought to send this ask. I promise I’ll always give friendship a chance.

This goes for everyone who feels like you, please say hi :) I’m a lonely thing in the dark… while my social energy fluctuates often, I do try and be as active online as I can manage. I’m autistic too, hahaha… it just manifests differently because of my upbringing. I’m very veeery burnt out, and that takes a toll on my “socialization for the day” meter. Not to mention working around mental illness lol… I promise I will give you a chance to talk with me, but you’ve got to make the first step ;) I see through people relatively easy… so don’t worry about awkwardness or rejection.
