this paragraph might make no sense to you, anwyas. someone said under the aang atla post that aang has a similar character type to aang.. which is right..? a silly child.. idk hanako well enough to say he also usually runs away from things, during s3(for aang), there is an act one could consider both facing something head on AND running away from things. i think of what other characters would fit into the tbhk narrative but i’m not really sureee. i think if u like hananene u would like kataang but katara is not really nene? or maybe she is, katara takes charge of situation and is prone to anger Shes a very silly girl though. She is teenage girl. i love katara i dont really know where im going with this
oh My mutuals keep telling me about that u_u; ... I DO THINK AANG IS KINDA LIKE HANAKO? Maybe not narrative wise, but he does have his moments where I go: wow, that's... just hanako being a little guy... way to go, man! but then again, I do that to a lot of characters... AND I LIKE KATAANG!!! I I KNOW A DAILY ACCOUNT!!!!!! out of the way, easy!!!
I've never seen avatar in my life, but from the complications of kataang i've watched, they do fit the hananene agenda occasionally... especially aang. thoooough hanako doesn't run from things, even if he'd like to; he's more impulsive? thinking it through, acknowledging the outcome but not entirely fully understanding the wit of his actions in the end because all well is said done. if he has a plan, he Does it. Running away means vulnerability to him.
for katara though... I do think the précis where she's maternal, and she feels like she needs to "take charge" a lot of time is very strikingly contrasting to nene where she's always backpedalling and utopian, in a way that makes other people preserve her as very immature, because she is! If things get too serious, she bubbles herself! A lot could be done with this!!! We're getting good stuff!!!
I say have fun, and if it makes sense to you then do what you'd like. I personally would agree either way, but hananene as kataang is very cute... :)) <33
