She never deserved the hate and the racism she got over getting casted as Michaela but they shouldn’t have made Fran story turn into a lesbian story in the first place because most show watchers aren’t Americans nor Europeans, most casual watchers aren’t comfortable with that and making Michael into Michaela gonna hurt the show badly viewership wise. I have seen many screenshots attacking everyone who pointing this out but it’s true they should have made original spin off with original lesbian characters instead of changing an entire book and main storyline and pointing that out isn’t lesbophobia it’s just common sense
