No offence but this rhetoric of “Nicola isn’t fat she doesn’t see herself that way” is harmful. Nicola is a fat woman, anyone with eyes knows this, Nicola said she doesn’t want to be the face of fat women which is very different. I think it’s horrible, as a fat woman, to watch this fandom be so fanatical in its pushback against Nicola being fat. What exactly is wrong with being a fat woman? What exactly is wrong with Nicola being a fat woman? What exactly is wrong with fat women being fans of Nicola because she’s a fat woman? Nothing at all.
as a fat person, there's nothing fucking wrong with it???? but at the same time, it's nicola's body, and we should respect HER wishes. but if you're a fan of nicola simply for her body then you're not really a fan, and that's really weird.
