real. although this isn't highly related to this i wanted to talk ab it a bit cuz like idk this answer is gonna be on my page and it's about me or wtv but LIKE.. i will say, it just. makes me so uncomfortable its unreal. mostly just because growing up my family just fucking loved that word and would choose to refer to me and brother as it all the time (specifically me every single time me being in the 'special' class would come up), which in turn led to ME using it all the time. until like someone told me... not to. and since then it just kills me to hear like i cannot... and i think that's a fair thing to ask of people, and yet i've met multiple people who refuse to not use it because 'it isn't a slur' like? idgaf??? i think it... is, or at least has the same intended use, and reclaimed or not it's nothing different than asking to not hear some other sorta slur. ughh people piss me off... anyway. umm stay real quinn
