Omo…….well. everyone says “just start writing” which js kinda. i mean its trrue but i feel like we could be saying more. basically just keep in mind that ultimately you are writing for YOURSELF. like please remember that over and over this is for YOURSELF and you can be SO self-indulgent with ur fic because i swear once you ACTUALLY start writing for yourself you will be so happy and your fic will actually level up. i started writing fic bc i was rlly into [REDACTED FANDOM] at the time and wanted a sillly little high school romcom and i ended up banging it out in a week and posted it on ao3 and it got a bit of attention and it made me so happy!! and that was 2 and a half years ago and i have grown so much since then 🥺
