this is sth i don't think anyone's noticed which i get, i didn't make it obvious AT all - dk is trans in the earth laughs in flowers. stemming from 'oracle' soonyoung and the fake gf-->bf he made up for wonwoo when they were kids (if u want, read over that scene again at the start of chapter two and see if u think anything.....) also why he makes such a big deal abt being shirtless and - much quieter reference, especially since the fic isn't in his pov - seokmin who was very insecure abt his body back when he was 19, just over a year on t, and then comes this perfect guy who keeps complimenting him despite there being a language barrier and tells him he looks pretty without clothes (makes sense why seokmin had such a massive reaction to that). minghao ofc knew this abt him since their one night stand and though that made seokmin nervous at first when they met for the second time, it was also a catylist for him to easily become comfortable with hao again <3

it was more like. not a big part of the fic bc i just had in my head that dk was trans while writing, that was it rlly. i do this sometimes, like ace wonwoo, and in just the right height when i talked abt soonwoo giving each other facepaint when they were teens and hoshi is implied nb + bi because wonwoo paints one of his cheeks purple and yellow and the other blue and pink

i was wondering if i would ever explicitly say it and i did decide to mention it in the dreamwidth post that im going to make abt the series once i finish everyone's stories but im taking wayyyyy longer to do that than i thought lmfaoo so here we are! it will also be referenced in later fics in the series <3

hi!! my number one is friends to lovers for SURE. just something very warm about falling for or realising you've fallen for someone who already means so much to you. then i love to write crack fic, particularly crack treated seriously, because writing funny things is probably my favourite thing to do 🥰  i generally stick to modern real-life settings bc i like making sth out of the mundane (which is why these are pretty boring gfdgjvd but i love making it fun!) but i like to write abt uni/college AUs the most! maybe bc im a student haha and i like thinking abt what svt would study and how they would connect as friends in a school context (bc i absolutely believe they would still all end up finding each other)

dino - JONAH FROM SUPERSTORE. LISTEN. such a decent guy who is always teased and gets really sentimental but his friends shoot him down when it gets long ajdwjjfj and cares so so much

woozi - ron swanson from parks and rec...has his own routine and can act brusque but has a heart of gold actually. also ron being an extremely popular talented saxophonist by the name duke silver??? very woozi

mingyu - marshall from how i met your mother! tall af and goofy and very reliable. lots of advice and love to give

coups - penelope from one day at a time...confident, outgoing, silly and is very kind but no-nonsense with the kids. has a lot of worries but family is the most important thing to them in the world no matter what

vernon - jim from the office...chill, likes their fair share of pranks, fans of sci-fi and superheroes, cut to all the times vern has looked into the camera like...well, jim from the office

minghao - this took me forever but i settled for rosa from b99, the clothes, intimidating, one-liners than hit, can b v silly sometimes, cares Very much, the ballet...also david from schitt's creek. always bemused by what's going on 😭 sarcastic, fashion-forward, minghao WOULD transform a retail store into an upscale boutique

jun - winston from new girl hehe weird guy who also always finds himself yelling at his friends cause they're getting into some weird shit 😭 and the CAT association

josh - ok ok this was Hard but.  penny from the big bang theory? gorgeous and extroverted and funny, very kind-hearted but u get scared when they're mad 😭  also maybeee not quite a sitcom but i want 2 add midge from the marvelous mrs maisel. quick to help friends, kind and outgoing, very fashionable! quick wit too

seungkwan - no idea if this counts as a sitcom (it feels like one to me) but alex from julie and the phantoms. worries and nags his friends a lot and can be v sassy lmaooo but is just so kind-hearted (and VERY talented)

wonwoo - this was so hard bc wonwoo's a v gentle guy and sitcom charas r usually so over the top u kno ??? but gregory from abbot's elementary does speak to me. quiet and stays to himself but def has a sense of humour and loosens up when he's comfy with ppl. kids starting to rlly like gregory who gets surprised but touched by it....i can see that happening with wonwoo :')

hoshi - jake from b99. hilarious goofball but a genius (don't lie flashbacks) and has so much love for his friends and what he does

dk - janine from abbott elementary! so optimistic (and cute!) and wants the best for everyone, works hard, big love for kids. also ted lasso from ted lasso for very similar reasons (+corny humour and bubbly)

jeonghan - i struggled so bad with this one oh my fucking god and i'm sorry but ultimately i don't think i have an Actual one 😔 but there's a bit of doug judy (b99) in him - petty criminal jokester who starts to mess with a cop at first then they actually become rlly good friends...he would - and lydia (one day at a time), iconic and funny and will love the people they hold close with all their being

side note: a few of these sitcoms got....weird in later seasons so u kno take it all with a grain of salt lmaoooo

hellooo oh man ok So...theyre jeonghaowonchan and i think i need to be cliche and say that my heart decided for me...see ive been into kpop since the end of 2016 and i did fairly like svt i listened to their music a bit (highlight has been one of my fave kpop songs since it came out) and i was lowkey a minghao solo stan in 2018 jkafkbhg HE WAS RLLY COOL. still is ofc <3 and me liking him was just. very natural. he's so soft and inspiring and funny. i could never put my feelings for him in words. then there's this vid that i watched years ago it was a crack ver of their table tennis live (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryHVZIjy96Y i think this is a reupload and it has some pretty old jokesjkfsd) where minghao was v cute and i loved jeonghan's mc-ing i thought he was rlly funny lmaooo. jeonghan is just...gah he means so much to me. i relate to him with a lot of niche things and sometimes it is very comforting to have this silly little happy guy in ur corner. im not gonna lie for a while i wasnt sure if i actually had a jeonghan bias but then it suddenly consumed me?? v glad for it

i wasnt rlly aware that i had a wonwoo bias at first, but i had only one friend who was carat when i was getting into svt and he told me that he thought the whole time that wonwoo was my guy bc i talked abt him so much and i was like oh wow wait. i think wonwoo Is my guy. u see when i started out fic-writing for svt i only wrote soonwoo for ages bc i had brainrot and i rlly loved writing abt ww being loved. u kno? and so many of my fave ships r ww ships cause i jus rlly rlly love seeing him being loved idek how to explain it!!! he just deserves everything. gentle shy silly guy with a v big heart even if it's not loud

so i had jeongwonhao bias for ages. coincidentally these r also my fav three svts to write so thats made me delve into them more too and i love it. the dino bias - or at least me realising that i had a dino bias - came a bit later....i think it started when i went to watch the pol movie and his zero hero perf blew me out of the water. i think he is so fucking cool and he is my favourite performer across all stages and ive also always been a rlly big perfu stan like thats my ride or die team so i already knew i loved him a lot. so i started following a ton of dino accs and suddenly dino was all over my tl and yea. the transition/realistion of dino bias was so easy and clear. cannot wait to write him more bc i already like it a lot

either way i love love ot13 so much but these have solidly been the guys who make me the most crazy
