what do you mean by big grand stakes (gen) explain it to me with an example pls im dumb
plots that go beyond just the relationship, outcomes for more than just the two leads and possibly their immediate circle. i am struggling so hard to come up with examples, but think like romcom vs drama with a romantic subplot, or romantasy vs epic fantasy that happens to have a romance as well.
and putting this before anyone misunderstands. i love romance as a genre. i think it requires abundant skill and hard work to pull off well, and i've been deeply moved by romance books and fics alike. i don't think do something else means doing something "better" than romance.

what are your thoughts on yj being a workaholic 😭 the company asking him if hes sure that he wants to do it now while simultaneously being on tour and preparing group cb and warning him how overwhelming and stressful that will be and he’s like nope i have to do this 😭😭 this boy shsj thank you bamgyu for being a very caring boyfriend who makes sure he eats enough and supports him
I have kinda complicated feelings about it lol. Because I don’t love to romanticize overworking idols or even overworking in general. I can especially relate to pushing yourself physically, past what you thought you were capable of, even to the point of it being unhealthy. And while I do believe there is something to be said about the idol culture that could have led him to believe he Needs to overwork himself, I also understand that there are certain fields (entertainment, athletics) where this is just a fact of life. And it seems like he chose this, it was possible to put it off for some time but he decided to do it now. So I understand him and I admire him and I’m excited to see him emerge as a solo artist. Also I cannot wait for the behind the scenes content because it’s so so so sexy seeing them work, not just seeing the finished product but watching them partake in their actual craft. I love it and I love him and I’m so excited to support him. I hope that was coherent enough 😭😭

here some updates for u that I didn't ask of my life but I know u could be seated while reading this: I'm planning to pay a VPN to use twitter (unless I encounter one that's free 🙏) and function as a human being again and remember the girl I was talking and we sent each other teo quotes to declare love and going on dates? she sent me letters and all inspired by teo I cried a lot (I was going to update you on that but twitter cockblocked me) but the happiness was short, I discovered that she was dating other girl about 5 years and living with the girl. We're taking long distance and all, but she never talked about her girlfriend and said that she lived alone. 🫠 DON'T WORRY THO I'm okay now, and still love teo with all my heart! Now I'm working and working and reading your things again. And I'm glad ur back writing! 🫂
