I VERY MUCH LIKE DGS. spoilers ahead obviously but

i think his character is really fucking awesome. the game using ryuunosuke's eyes to guide you through the different sides of his character has always impressed me. drifting you from kazuma being your respectable friend and mentor who wouldn't do wrong, to being able to see the desperation in his eyes and all his flaws on display in the final trial. they turn that strong will on its head with his revival and it thrusts you through every emotion possible lol. i also really love what kazuya nuri did with his character design, putting him in (pretty much) full white after his "rebirth", which normally would indicate some sort of heavenliness or purity coming with his ressurection but instead the uglier sides of himself come out, putting a reversal on the usual black/white color symbolism.

also im assuming if youre here you like prsk, back in june of last year oomf had early leaks of fes akito story and vaguely hinted that the story was 'kazuma-like' which i immediately jumped on and spieled some stuff about determination for a goal and finding a new light for your dream with "the truth" (rw/nagi-san in akito's case). and then i got "pretty spot on, though i think you're forgetting something" and my jaw dropped. who up forgetting everything about themselves except for their burning passion (and then having their aibou's voice appear in their head)
