any cultural normalizations you have in your hooniverse? i.e. it’s common on a first date to just smush them flat and take them home with you

The only interesting one I can think of atm is that yumens are pretty misunderstood; they only started showing up a few generations ago so not everyone knows what the heck they are

They tend to get mistaken for monkeys, birds, even fish, and treated with the appropriate accommodations for those species
