icl after seeing the joy news i’m coming to terms w jh staying with sm i fear… if we look at it objectively all the idols who’ve left sm in recent times except for kingsoo have been involved in legal battles/blockages with sm 😢 cbx and taemin are examples that come to mind and even the ones still in sm that voice out their complaints get mediaplayed against. kyungsoo is more of an exception than the rule because he’s really made a great network for himself and left sm super cleanly but also he doesn’t seem like he needs to cling too much to group activities so sm’s blockages won’t affect him as much since if he’s discouraged from joining exo stuff once he won’t see the need to push back. my thoughts only though
