ok plot , if seungmin debuted but hyunjin didn't how would you think they'd meet again
omg now THIS is an interesting one hmm if were thinking hyunjin never was in the survival show or a trainee to begin with i like the (very unrealistic and highly fanfic-ified) idea of hyun being a dedicated fan and attending every concert and fanmeet and then seung recognizing him in a public setting like a cafe or something and approaching him cus he knows hyunjin has been a fan for a long time and hyun has his yn moment and stays calm even when hes on the verge of freaking the fuck out and seung is all ”oh i know you, youve been supporting us for a long time so thank you for that” and hyunjin gets all flustered and tries not to stutter but hes blushing like crazy when he praises seung and tells him how much he loves his voice and seungmin finds him adorable and BOOM they fall in love and spend the rest of their lives together!!!
BUT if were thinking hyunjin was eliminated theyd most certainly keep in contact but kinda fall out cus hyun has this longing in his heart for being an idol and seung is obv very busy. years pass and hyunjin eventually debuts under another company, they reconnect during an award show and end up going for a drink or two and confess they were kinda in love w e/o and they hook up and start dating and get into a scandal but it gets covered up and they can spend the rest of their lives happily together. it doesnt bother them they have to keep it a secret bc all that matters to them is that they love e/o
