hi angelus, i just read /lesb and honestly i relate to you so bad as a lesbian still dealing with comphet due to homophobic parents. its ever so easy to admit ur into women but hard to admit that u dont like men because it makes you feel ashamed for going against ur parents wishes. i knew that feeling too well and i still have to struggle with it and it pains me. i hope u find peace in ur life regardless of anything in life, and i appreciate you making the rentry cuz i finally know im not alone in this. ♡

Hello Meri, I’m glad that you know you’re not alone in this. It’s struggle to come to terms with yourself and your own feelings, because sometimes you’ll put others (like your family) before you. This has led to multiple people leaving themselves in the closet, even though no one is there to tell them otherwise. That fear you grew up with stays with you and it’s hard to shake it off. It doesn’t matter what sexuality you are or identity you use, as long as you’re comfortable and it’s not offensive, just be yourself. It’s hard to let go of feelings from the past, but it’s good to give it a try. Thank you for this message Meri, I hope you find peace as well. <3
