A healthy change❤️ I’ve used him as a distraction to avoid engaging with my own life for years now. Yk I’d rather put my care and attention into his cause rather than my own, cause that would mean a lot of unpacking and breaking boundaries which errrr… and he’s also just a constant in between other typical obsessions that’s aren’t quite as encompassing. The unfortunate thing that I’ve noticed that though is that when I do find something to obsess over briefly (current:yellowjackets) and kinda forget about him I’m better off. The kpop community is toxic as hell and unbearably stupid and his career is lowkey a little sad. Stepping away from it and not being as engrossed in it all is the way to go.
It's true honestly, I wanna get to the point where I don't have anything I'm filling so much of my time doing that's not productive but it will take time ig. at least with gaming bc it's so involved i'm not doing it as much as I was staying on twitter but yea. in any case it is more toxic believe it or not and also just boring and draining. happy for you though, i don't even think anything is wrong with it inherently but it's just tiring to be so involved. the best way to like artist and maybe even anything is barely interacting with the fandom
