this is gonna seem ridiculous since im talking about sex positions here but i think owen bottoming is just ooc -- actually i think owen letting specifically cain top him is not happening
firstly i struggle to ever see owen and cain having a normal.. typical fluffy romantic relationship with normal loving sex lol owen is so difficult to deal with and not upfront about his desires, you literally have to play mind games with him to get him to do what you want and if he gets the vibe he's serving you then he's done which is WHY i think ppl want him to bottom? pillow princess owen is a nice idea but maybe in some alternate world where they're not wizards....? or maybe just not with cain? but personally i feel like he'd view that as a vulnerable position where he's being debased - i think he'd feel like he had more control if he wasnt the bottom. alsooo he obviously views nearly everybody as inferior to him so idk i dont think he'd want cain in control of his pleasure or in the position tht could possibly hurt lol

also like, i feel like a relationship between owen and cain wouldn't really be happening on cains terms either, owen is so forceful (he stole his god damn eye) and sure i think he cares about cain in some twisted fucked up way and clearly wants MORE of him and goes about getting that in ways thats would probably not be fun for cain... i think their first time would be dubious at best and honestly their relationship IMO needs a lot of time to develop into something that's some semblance of normal and it rlly feels like cain is "taken along for the ride" regardless if that what he wants or not. i think if cain reciprocated these.... complicated feelings of wanting to help owen or wanting to be with him (and not knowing how) he'd be willing to accept whatever owen was willing to give (talking about sex here)
i think the reverse of that ship is possible if theres a lot of progress and healing on owens part but thats not what i want from this ship!!!!!!! but im not a cain oshi or owen oshi at all i think i'd need to reread a lot to justify my thoughts with their interactions with each other in canon :3c.. i just think the smut is hot when its owen doing whatever he wants
