personally i think with pim being australian while charlie is american allan seems like an immigrant to america but clearly trying to emulate the accent and glep being god knows what. i think itd be funny if pim spoke in kansai dialect. im literally doing this just because hes australian and i think its the funniest shit ever. also i think he would use 僕 and probably あなた for others to be polite.. also i think he would be very excited all the time with the emphasis sentence end particles everywhere

i think allan would be kind of like a non native japanese speaker? obviously knows the language but the sentence structure may be slightly unnatural and i think hed use 私(わたくし) and prob call ppl あなた. also i think hed use ます for literally everything bc to me it gives him that deadpan vibe he has in the show
i have no idea about glep bc he speaks gibberish in the show and im not sure if in a japanese dub he would keep doing that or theyd just get him to do a different language?? i thought itd be funny if he spoke korean but again i dont want it to imply that like korean is gibberish so yea. im not really sure about that one
also heres some dialogue i translated because i was bored on a 3 hour car ride. im not Too familiar with kansai dialect rules and i did have to consult with resources on it just so it wouldnt sound stupid but it probably does sound stupid. um i did mostly try to have the original meaning instead of localizing but someone could prob do better than me. anyway heres the i love kids dialogue the twig song and the i believe in destiny line tled by yours truly

I AGREE, though I like to think of Alan as disgustingly smooth, sort of like a dry dolphin. This is a good opportunity to discuss how I think everyone’s skin feels :)
-Glep feels a bit like a microfiber cloth
-Charlie’s got sort of a Sphinx cat texture to him, mostly skin with a little bit of light hair here and there.
-Pim sort of feels like a toad. He’s not bumpy, and he is dry, but he has that smooth, slightly tactile amphibian flesh.

I’ve noticed that Charlie isn’t necessarily averse to touch. If anything, actually does seem a little lowkey touchy feely. He just prefers to initiate contact rather than receive, and being touched when he doesn’t want to be makes him uncomfortable.
That scene at the end of Salty’s where they giggle and tease eachother is like my favorite scene ever. I love how playful they are🩷 I agree 100% Charlie absolutely is touchy but as soon as someone else touches he starts whining . Pussy bitch . Other than that I imagine ppl sleep on his belly like Totoro.

Theory: I think a lot of omo fans have been drawn to the show because there’s a decent amount of in-canon fodder. Grim pisses his pants outright, drunk Charlie gets a wet spot, and Pim wakes up with a possible wet spot post-drug trip. Do critters just have sensitive bladders or something?? What’s the deal??
I highly doubt that critters having sensitive bladders was something the creators had in mind when writing, but whatever who cares Yeah maybe ?? I’m thinking that maybe critters have a variety of random health issues, maybe because some critter types aren’t 100% biologically compatible, kinda like dog breeds?? It might explain Charlie’s heart condition .

So Charlie says that Alan is more than just a pretty face, right? Like, is Alan considered conventionally attractive among critters? Plus, he’s the youngest of the four, AND he’s canonically good in bed.

IN MY OPINION, yes. In order from most attractive to least attractive (considering critter beauty standards) would be Alan who is considered very attractive, Glep who is considered attractive, Charlie who is considered average and lastly, Pim who is considered average/ugly. Note that beauty standards for critters are extremely nonsensical and irrational.
Alan is extremely sexy and everyone wants him and it’s funny because I do think he canonically likes to have sec but I also see him as virtually aromantic and absolutely uninterested in other people.
