Dooo you think that Craig ever got overwhelmed by Tweek and ended up sh-ing because he felt like he wasn’t a good enough bf for someone as complex as Tweek? Cause I was thinking about how Craig has always said he likes things “nice and boring” and Tweek is, well, not that. So I wonder if he ever feels like he’s just not prepared enough for Tweek, but Tweek loves how simple he is bc he thinks that complex people are too stressful and he loves that Craig isn’t complex like himself. They both love the other because he’s everything he’s not. Craig is usually calm and collected, relatively simple in what he wants while Tweek is stressed and complex, inconsistent and nervous.
lemme break down what my thoughts are; i do think in some form he feels inadequate to help but not in the way described here if that makes sense? just in a sense where he feels stuck because things are out of his control sometimes and he wants to help really really bad but it doesn’t register fully that it’s just impossible and that he has to accept that sometimes. however like you said ( i think?) i think their drastic differences causes a good blend because they balance each other out nicely so i never thought of that as a problem, and also i just feel they really just get each other better than anyone else for some reason… ( the neurodivergent understanding, anyway. ) so they can seek what they can’t bring to themselves in the other.
on the topic of self destructive behaviors i think craig at a low low wouldn’t really be the type to self harm imo. i see him possibly turning to substance related things to self medicate/regulate if anything, but it could just be none of the above. more than anything i think he would socially isolate and cause himself that harm and struggle and blah
