So after watching that clips compilation, I feel like I got a speedrun of the RAS arc in the anime slkfjslfs. I was already planning to watch the anime eventually, but I think I'd rather do it sooner than later. I'm kinda lost about it though lol. Can you tell me about the anime? How many seasons? What's the order? Do you happen to have any links? Is it canon? Anything else I should know? Btw I still don't know everyone for sure, but I think I can say with certainty that you and I share faves in Popipa-🥁
EYY SAAYA ARISA ENJOYER 🤝 and ok lemme give you the rundown about bandori anime in chronological order bc it is the one part where it can be messy
s1- standalone, focus on popipas initial story with a few cameo that are very inconsequential, this anime looks like it was made in a garage with two sticks BUT i still think that the story and characters make it very solid and Definitely recommend
s1 ova - its just roselia and popipa at the beach. it got some Moments (in. all the ways)
s2 - All Star + ras gets introduced anime. if you Arent familiar with the game thats where they usually lose you lmao. all the bands get their Episode moment that helps you getting familiar with them tho ! all with the side/main plot of ras slowly getting started/following popipas progress post s1
1st live movie - this is basically an animated concert ! it can be fun to watch and skip thru but nothing that important happening BUT recommend checking it out (will mention why later)
s3- Proper ras anime with popipa and roselia side plots. been a while i watched it so i dont remember much tbh but. this is the part where. you can fully enjoy with just s1 and s2 in the brain.
movies episode of roselia 1 and 2 : covers roselia initial + later arc. the first one SUCKS ASS. good movie to watch for How Not to Adapt a story. second one is Okay. but yea id say dont touch them with a stick Before you read up to roselia noble rose arc lmao.
2nd live movie - SECOND movie that is basically a huge concert BUT. something happened in the animation and direction water which makes it SOOO GOOD and as engaging as an actual concert. that one i Definitely recommend watching At Least to compare the INSANE jump in animation compared to the 1st live movie.
circle thanks party - ova for garupas 5th anniversary !!! its a really sweet and touching ova that definitely hit when youre familiar with the game
morfonication - ova focusing on morfonica ! it is an original story and isnt an adaptation of anything so you have to AT LEAST read bs1 morfonica but nothing else is really necessary. a really really gorgeous and sweet piece of animation <3
it's mygo - HERE THEY ARE... THE NEW LIL GUYS... you can jump into their season 100% without ANYTHING prior. all the cameos and Hints at past stuff are just a really sweet and nice touch of when you are already familiar with the franchise (even more when long time fan) truly peak television
SIDE STUFF : garupa pico is a chibi comedic anime show all available and subbed on youtube. it can Also be a way for you to get familiar with the charas !! its really fun overall i really love it. (theres 3 seasons. garupa pico, ohmori, fever)

I seem to be having a good week in prsk and Bandori! I got Mafuyu in 20 pulls and decided to pull on the new banner. I got LOCK in the 1st 10 pull!! I'm happy and got even more excited when I decided to check out her profile and found out we have the same birthday!! I didn't expect that coincidence but after seeing a few clips of her (featuring MASKING), I think I get her. Very interesting to see your faves! We share some so far, so I'm looking forward to learning more about everyone :)-🥁

Oh that makes sense! So then who are your favorites from each band 👀 I noticed you started a thread where you draw a Bandori character a day and I think that’s cool! Especially when a character who might not be as popular shows up. It’s nice to know that someone is thinking about them 🥹 I agree about the music! After all, it’s the universal language and transcends boundaries. I hope more people can give that a chance at least!—🥁

No way lol. Is she a popular character? Actually, who's considered popular in the cast? I still don't really follow many Bandori people so idk what's the general consensus. Yeahhhhh sadly it still exists in these and other games :( that sexualization is what really caught me off guard here though. But awwww nooooooo not Lisa!! Hmmm maybe it's because I'm more in the prsk sphere that I stumble across posts being critical of Bandori for that (since we have to pick a side apparently), but it makes me sad. I think there's great stuff here that more people would discover if they gave Bandori a chance. But it's hard to convince people if the first post they see about it is something about its flaws idk. It's an industry thing for sure.-🥁
id say that the vocalists + members of the most popular bands (roselia mygo and avemuji now) would be the most popular characters overall ! but all charas tend to get their fair share of love if you find their corner of fans :') and yea id definitely get it if those cards put ppl off from bandori i did jump into the game not knowing about it so idk how it would have influenced me if i did, so i don't fault them for that ! i think that the most ppl can get from bandori in anycase is in the music and the concerts so if theyre willing to give a chance for that then its all good :')

Haha thanks! I think it might be working, at least subconsciously since I've enjoyed what I've heard so far from Roselia...though I have to admit that I'm a bit more biased towards Sayo for now. I've noticed a pattern with myself of being a fan of more serious characters (Shiho, Airi, Nene, Sayo, etc.) at least initially, and she immediately stuck out to me. I'm excited to learn more. Though I did want to mention something that my friend shared with me not long after I sent my last ask. Apparently the latest JP dream fes has a questionable card? I saw it and got a bit of context and was reminded why I hadn't downloaded this game for so long. Before I did, I did see people mentioning certain things about Bandori :|-🥁
glad to hear youre enjoying roselia so far <3 and lmao literally All fans of bandori i know had a sayo phase when they started me included but if its the archetype of character you like it Might not be a phase... but cant wait to see for you how that goes !! and yea lmao one of the big fault of garupa is their ever coming back of orientalism (not that prsk is free of that u Know) and the sexualisation hammer ready to fall when u least expect it. it is a huge fault of the game that i am VERY aware of bc lisa is so often the victim of it but unfortunately not much of the cast is safe which is why im Often loud about it lmao. i think that its just hypocritical to always throw bandori under the bus about it as if theyre a Special Case and is not just the Result of the industry and society it comes from etc. long text to say Consume Critically but yea im the first one to bitch about it when garupa goes there

super sorry to bother, but do you know which card stories / events contain the key bits of info on middle school / young divorcees yukilisa? trying to write a fic but i’m Deadly Afraid of accidental mischaracterization
omg hi. long answer would be to read all their events and card stories bc there No actual event focusing on that part of their relationship it's mostly references to that time/when they were younger that are made throughout events and card stories and ppl mostly build around that with what they know and how they understand the characters. the only consistent fact that we know for sure is that lisa quit music in 7th grade so their divorce time was about three years long. and short answer is that i will make you a list of stories i think are important to get thru for that + my thoughts of how things went down (if u want them or not bc they might influence ur reading or something)

I have so much to look up lol. I just saw the latest Bandori EN tweet, and they mentioned a Dream Festival banner next? Does it work the same as prsk Color Fes? Actually, how do all the banners work if you wouldn’t mind explaining? Sorry for all these questions one after another 😔…btw I’m going to start signing my asks so I won’t have to keep calling myself the prsk anon who started playing Bandori—🥁
hi again and yea !! dreamfes and colofes are equivalent :D bandori is onto its third rotation of dreamfes rn hoping to see prsk start their second one soon !! and yeah like prsk you can pull Others dreamfes within that banner but not the other regular banners. another different banner we got are kirafes they're animated cards ! when u equip them you get the pairing of the card appear in ur menu so it's really cute lmao
then i think the biggest difference of banner between bandori and prsk is the lims. prsk has one per month and is indicated by a different hairstyle but neither is the case for bandori. hairstyles always changes in bandori But the GUARANTEED lims are seasonal. new year, valentines, wedding, summer (we hate summer sets in this house), halloween, christmas. Maybe spring/sakura and white day but those arent consistent. and they always happen on the first day of the holiday month like christmas set is always the first set of december and valentines the first of february etc.
