How do you come up with your fic ideas?? its really impressive! I’d really want to write a fic of my own but coming up with a whole story plot is hard

I wish I had a good answer! Usually it starts with something simple and then it builds from there...Like in tpdd I took a philosophy class about death in college, and thought it would be right up Dazai's alley and it grew from there by adding in other elements like how skk would meet, and what tropes would be fun - and then just WRITE and see what happens!
