People like knowing my opinion on things??? Interesting... well I'll be honest, I know about as much as I've seen circulating on Twitter. I think it's /good/ that so many writers are striking that work in the industry, esp since it seems to be over streaming residuals-- as well as the whole thing regarding ChatGPT.

I hope that the WGA is able to be heard, and companies actually take the steps necessary in order to financially support and care for their writers. But considering some of the pushback I've been seeing-- I don't know when that will be! I only wish them the best in this time... hopefully this answers ur Q!

OK so my overall feelings on AI art: it absolutely steals original work to frankenstein an art piece. I don't think it's a GOOD thing and I think AI art does more harm to artists than good IMO.

The only usability I've seen AI generated images has been making assets 2D for horror games that were SUPER hard to make out/abstracted from the original source.

TLDR: I think you'd be better off making a reference/insp board and trying to visualize something that way, it feels a lot more organic vs. using stolen artwork (ex. anime characters generated from fanartists.) I am far more concerned about the ethics of AI art and how it affects artists.
