Favorite asoiaf scenes ?
omg an asoiaf ask in this economy 🥺🥺 anddd im answering this three months late im so sorry... disclaimer that im a deeply basic lannisterpilled bitch so i feel like i'd just end up listing every lannister scene hshdjfjfh,, so im restricting myself to two lannister scenes here
(1) jaime saving brienne in the bear pit... its so peak it's really the crystallisation of jaime's character arc, i almost have that whole sequence memorised
(2) cersei and sansa during stannis' invasion ot king's landing. the small character moments are genuinely my fave part of asoiaf, i love sansa's pov here and that scene really cut into the heart of cersei as a character. deeply tragic delusional girl who never had a chance :(
(3) daenerys hatching her dragons. like it's iconic for a reason i really have nothing else to say she's #Her
(4) this is where my memory gets blurry but that part in storm of swords where jon is having his "im 16 and im going to save the night's watch if no one else will" moment. he's so earnest and bitter i love him...
(5) the red wedding. like literally the whole red wedding it's peak and it's a tragedy that was always going to happen, there are so many things that trigger it and there's nothing that can really avert it. grey wind's head getting sewn on robb's corpse is imagery that's stayed with me for a decade atp lmao
honourable mentions to joffrey's death; tyrion holding out hope that jaime will save him and be his champion in his trial by arms; ned confronting cersei in the godswood; every lord/knight stannis/davos yaoi moment; stannis reminiscing about the siege of storm's end; jon having his last supper moment; jaime sparring with ilyn payne. wow i really remember WAY too much about these books i literally read them a decade ago 😳
