i think if you aren't used to it it'll affect you badly for a while but if you stay for more than a year, you should get used to it like the rest of us and hopefully you won't get as sick next time. a lot of us do get small colds when the weather suddenly changes in autumn but not to the point of going to the hospital... i have seen the difference though with the exchange students that came from warm countries! at first they were all struggling and super cold and then the next year they were the same as the rest of us haha. stay healthy friend hope you adjust to the weather soon 🫂
