yeah he definitely has that subconscious fear of being abandoned which makes him stray from close interpersonal relationships. like he doesn’t know exactly what makes him feel that way (cos i dont think he rmbrs io) but the feeling is THERE. the scene in r7 where he reaches for mizi breaks my heart everytime . like he’s finally feeling hopeful for the first time in a while and it makes him desperately reach out, trying to savor and run to that feeling and it all crashes and burns and ooooo . im not rlly for t!!!mizi even in a platonic sense (i cant see them getting along as super close friends sorry even in a modern setting but PERHAPS this is just me) but damndnfndnen i was moved a bit. i Do feel like this fear of close relationships also interfered with his choice of leaving with ivan. it’s partially the reason but not the whole reason yk. till i love u my baby
