Is Douman an evil asshole monster man who pulls evil asshole moves that put their master in explicit danger while also adding a whole level of sexual harassment on top of it, not to mention the thinly veiled threat of maybe actually cannibalizing them? Yes.

Is Douman a rapist? No.

I'm kind of tired of this discourse that has cropped up especially amongst Douman haters - it's already been brewing in the EN fandom for a while before the BAR animation. "Douman's a creep! Douman's a sexual pervert! DOUMAN'S A RAPIST WHY DOES ANYONE LIKE HIM" And then going after Douman fans like its some kind of gotcha just to get some kind of moral high ground and shaming people to feel bad for liking a character that they hate. Of course, anyone can hate any character for any reason. I really don't care if people hate Douman! Like hey, yeah! The guy's a whole jerk and a half! Hate away! But to take the traits of a character and twist them into the worst version of itself especially with something that has not even happened is frustrating beyond belief. Douman forces a drink on you against your consent, a drink filled with curses. A horrible thing. But please. Please use your heads. This is not a Tamamo Lancer Valentine situation where she explicitly drugs Guda's drink to get them addled enough to attempt sexual assault. The drink is full of curses. It's (supposedly) extremely harmful to Guda (though their other "route" in the BAR animation has them PERFECTLY FINE and even cheerful after drinking the drink willingly). Douman always has a part of them that wants to kill and maybe even eat Guda. That's their whole schtik as a "beast with the skin of a man" who constantly crosses the wires of hatred and love, seen especially in their Valentine scene with their "gift full of love". (And even in their Valentine scene, there's no sexual assault whatsoever or attempt to force themselves on Guda, so. Please.)

Anyways, that's all for me on this point. I'm not going to answer any more questions on this subject.
