I can't talk about getting into LUCY without bringing DAY6 😂 Firstly, I got into DAY6 in 2019 n my bias is Young K. Young K has a cover project called Young One series. For his cover of Maniac - Conan Gray https://youtu.be/XGK_vcqXiCM?si=ymiuQCmOsM56PIhW, he collaborated with LUCY n that's my first exposure to them.
I love the cover n became curious of LUCY because whoa, a band has a violinist?? Definitely not something you see every day. N is that a 6-strings bass?? I've never seen it either! I've always have a preference for melodic bassline in songs n this bassist delivered!! Coincidentally, Wonsang sat beside Young K in the video so he caught my attention. Besides being impressed by his bass playing, I find his singing cute too. I started listening to LUCY n found that their music is just my style. Then nice timing, they released INSIDE single album not long after that. I love the aesthetic of the teaser video, love the title song Hero, Stove n also OUTRO 💙 Andddd I started stanning LUCY since then ^^
All the LUCY members are wonderful. Why do I bias Wonsang? Maybe because I love anime, I feel a certain connection with Wonsang who isn't shy to proclaim that he's an anime lover n inspired by anime (we happen to share some anime n movies we like). I also find him interesting. He's very talented musically - he composed n wrote the lyrics of many of LUCY's songs, very hardworking (n chronic hustler), he has cute personality n seems like a genuine person. Whenever I see him doing things, it just makes me happy. He stole my heart n became my bias just like that ^^
