I'm not an artist but my brother is and he absolutely loves iPad. He bought it just a few months back. Earlier he used other tools on his PC for art. He says it's easier to use, since it's portable. Apple pencil design is really smooth and very comfortable to handle and use. Procreate as a tool is really nice, it gives many options for different types of brushes and people also have some of their own sets of brushes you can import. It's a good investment if you're looking for something portable
