idk if it's just me but i feel like most of the people answering the polls about prompting and due dates were readers because the prompting and final deadlines are a lot shorter than usual. 3 (even 4 months) is not a lot of time to write :-(
We understand your concern. Minus the very first round in 2020, Jinkook Love Fest has always had a writing period of about 4 months. The great thing is that you are not expected to have a complete fic submitted. If you want to write a chaptered one, the first chapter just needs to meet the minimum word count of 500 words, which we believe is fair considering most fests have a minimum word count of 1-2k. If you’re concerned about your ability to finish your fic on time, there will be an opportunity to request an extension later. More details to come.

Hi. Rules say no mpreg for cis characters. Can you please expand on that? Like, would that include A/B/O verses where men with bodies that outwardly match a cis man being pregnant is "normal"? Is it up to the prompter to make sure its clear on the prompt the character must be a trans man or if someone writes a claim that's mpreg but doesn't specify the cis part and doesn't check the rule how will you deal with that? No plans to buy thought it worth clarifying :)
Hello. There's not much more to expand on this rule. We ask that no characters born as a cisgender male be pregnant. There are other gender identities, including trans man, that are able to get pregnant that don't need to be cis men. If someone doesn't see this rule or its not specified, the mods will reach out to the writer and decide where to go from there. Thank you.

do writers have to adhere to the top/bottom requests for prompts that aren't centered on smut?
Hello, this is a great question! We don’t have a rule about top/bottom preferences (though in hindsight, we probably should have added one), so I would say choose your own adventure. We’ll make sure to update the rules for the next season to clarify this. - 🐘

Hi, anon. The final deadline for submissions is August 1. Participants have the ability to ask for extensions, but we would likely only grant a few extra days.

Hi! Um I don’t know if it’s an issue or not, but there’s a prompt in the fest that’s definitely taken from a Twitter thread glossamer/(was @strawbaere on Twitter) made - the one where jk is a sugar daddy and sj is a grad student who calls his thesis his baby, maybe it’s not an issue for you guys but just wanted to bring it up in case
