there are a bunch of ways to censor that people use but ill just list the ones i use as not to overwhelm with info:

lots of people use 0’s for o’s and 1’s for i’s and even 4’s for a’s but unfortunately i simply think that is hideous and i can’t do it fjakfjskdk - i also have a hard time with some of the other options (“mimo,” “bimie,” “imie”) bc i can’t help but pronounce them the way they’re written in my head and i really hate them lol - but that’s just a personal thing! they’re technically viable ways to censor

people also use “initials” (not exactly the right word but idk another one) - for example ‘hjs’ for jsvng.

i would like to add that censoring is a choice. personally, i do not endorse it in the way where i am like “everyone HAS to censor or else BLOCKED” - i have friends that censor and friends that don’t. it’s really up to the individual as long as you know there are some people out there who are super serious about it and won’t interact with you or will block if you don’t censor. BUT everyone makes mistakes and we’re all in it together! so if you slip up ever, don’t worry too hard!
