Do anyone in the cast have a job?
This is gonna be a long one! I'm going to cover the main story, since the story's Epilogue arc is a bit of a work in progress!
Ren is a high school student for most of the main story. I could see him getting some side jobs, but they'll have to be part-time since he's a full time student.
Haewon's also a full time student (either in high school or undergrad). She's built different and works a plethora of jobs to make money. I could see her doing most of her jobs on-campus since she's there all the time, maybe at the school gym/pool or as a tutor or TA. Haewon also picks up gigs to perform and keep up with her hobby outside of her studies.
Ru's work is...classified. Beyond their activities as a full time student (like Haewon, so either high school or undergrad depending on the arc), Ru doesn't tell anyone about their job, not even Haru.
Haru works graveyard shifts (aha, graveyard shifts for a ghost companion) at local grocery stores, cafes, or convenience stores. Companions/magical beings don't need to sleep like humans do, so Haru takes advantage of that to get that nightshift bonus pay.
Wren doesn't work, unless you count stealing or being a general menace to society as a profession.
Gordet also doesn't work, unless you count being trapped due to his hubris and maintaining the psychological stability and memory of his Muse as a profession.

Haewon lives with her parents in Genesis! She lives alone from Catharsis onwards after getting her own apartment

Sorta! I don't share them publicly... I dunno if I'll get the confidence for that :') all of my covers are impromptu, play by ear melodies from games or shows that I'm into (most recent covers are songs from the OMORI ost). And thank you for the compliment!! I struggle with composing on computer programs so all of my compositions are just me playing around on whatever instruments I have at hand haha

That's fair, they don't really look like bugs. But I unfortunately can't answer every question, especially for someone else's characters. I appreciate your enthusiasm and questions though! If you have a question for Ren or Ruah's characters, it may be best to ask them in their retrospring ask boxes.

Oh my god i love the sherbie and cinnasnail!! I noticed the scoopy which is similar to the sherbie but I'm a sucker for sherbet ice cream.
Haewon: Rootle. It looks like a worm on a string.
Gordet: Megamaki because it's a dragon roll!
Ru: Wee mewon because it's silly
Haru: Eggler. Look at it.

Is there a reason why they look so similar?
There are many reasons, most of which I can't say bc of spoilers! I can give you some sorta vague/general tidbits though! Haewon and Gordet had a connection prior to Haewon's becoming a Muse/Gordet's becoming her companion. Specifically, Gordet was Haewon's imaginary friend when she was much younger. Haewon was involved in an incident that led to both the development of her main fear and Gordet's identity further developing beyond Haewon's imaginary friend and becoming the Gordet you see now.

They do look similar! I imagine Gordet as more of a father figure to Haewon, but I could see the sibling interpretation making sense. Gordet is Haewon's magical companion in the world of Eventide.

I unfortunately know little to nothing about bugsnax. however, I have looked at the wiki just to be able to respond to the second question. I like this lil guy, the Crapple. He is a fella.

What's the favorite food and drink of everyone in the main eventide cast?
no worries, you found the right place!! (we also have a discord server for eventide if you are interested :] ). I have consulted Ruah and Ren for their respective characters.
Haewon: tea lattes or hot tea with some honey! She also likes milk tea on hot days. She likes all noodles, whether they're in a sauce or a soup/broth!
Gordet: rice bowl enthusiast, specifically tonkatsu curry. He likes water, specifically cold, purified water that tastes really good/refreshing, idk how else to describe it but if you know you know
Ren: he will eat anything! he does like sweet drinks tho
Wren: sunflower seeds, I think he prefers food that he can keep in a pocket and munch on the go. idk what his fav drink is lol
Ru: Filipino spaghetti for food and anything with mango in it for drinks
Haru: spicy foods. I think it's because they're the only thing that make Haru feel something. The obvious pun of ghost pepper is there. Haru likes coffee, and he doesn't really have a preference for how his coffee is prepared.
