im reading through and through and through for the first time and i was so surprised to hear the drag mention! do you keep up with drag? any favorite queens (other than alaska im assuming)?
oh i'm glad you are reading it, i hope you're enjoying it! tbh i don't keep up super actively these days except with the one who jeonghan is talking about in that scene, aka hoso terra tomma https://www.instagram.com/hosoterratoma/?hl=en but a few other favs from rupaul when i watched it were detox and alyssa edwards. these days i usually just go to local shows when i visit somewhere! i saw great drag in seoul and mexico city. and i love going in nyc too :)

re: 17th heaven... yeah i get what you mean about fml. in many ways i think gom had a similar fate to fear in the sense that people expect one thing from svt and then when they end up releasing smth different it does not get the hype it deserves... but i feel like gom really shines live (even though i've never experienced that ㅠㅠ) since it really brings out a feeling of togetherness and joy that is essence of seventeen itself :) one day.... people will understand her.....

also a fellow 17th heaven shooter 🙋♂️ yawn was such a beautiful song and woozi revealing that at the end, he switches from yawn to pain literally cemented my love for this song and album. woozi crafts his songs so beautifully and w so much love and care im glad he’s getting rewarded for all of his efforts over the years ESP w this album and fml

i agree with your thoughts on 17th heaven so much, to me it is one of their most thematically cohesive works, such a thoughtfully composed and produced album. the concept was so fun and the songs were excellent (i think some of their best unit work, and i would argue that b2b is at the top3 of perf unit's choreos). also my darling gom... she is my misunderstood child that i will always love and protect no matter what people say. i have kung chi pak chi'd so hard this year. very happy for 17th heaven ♡
anon you get it!!! i think people were really still riding the high of FML, which is certainly understandable. it's a shame that the kpop format pressures music to be released so quickly one after another. nonetheless i agree with everything you said, and i am really happy that it got the recognition it deserved, 2023 was truly an astounding year musically for svt overall.

what are all the ships u write?
so far for svt i’ve only written for solboo and junshua as main pairings but there are many ships i would want to write! i think other ships i would consider writing as main pairings are jeongcheol and jihan, but there are others too, like maybe seoksoo, junhao, etc. i would just have to be inspired! or prompted! honestly any of the side pairings that have shown up in my fics are also fair game

how did u come up with the title of ur upcoming sb meet cute fic?
it’s a korean word i am very fond of!! a friend of mine from seoul taught it to me one day when we were sitting by the han (it literally translates to sparkles on the water, or the ripples of light on the water) and i found myself writing about that imagery for this fic a lot so :) that’s how i chose
