i had to think about how i wanted to answer this bc i know how the things i say can be misconstrued 😭 but i think if there’s someone you want to be friends with, they’ll be perfectly open to talking to you if you talk to them. in most circumstances (unless you do something or are friends with someone they don’t like) you’ll be accepted. i say this as a person who is on the receiving end bc i almost never initiate friendships 😭 but when people approach me i’m always happy to see if we click. i assume most people will also be friendly bc everyone wants to make new friends. i know the skfs fandom doesn’t have a lot of events for everyone to jump into (or maybe it does and i just don’t see them) but they can also be a way to meet people. lots of people like to meet in servers and then become muts on twitter or if you’re into art or fics and want to talk to the person who made it, you can use that as your way in. just be genuine and don’t be afraid to set boundaries or speak up for yourself. just be the kind of person you want around you. you’ll find your people or if you’re like me, they’ll find you.
