Dr34m and S4pn4p have sent each other valentines every year since they met. They find cute graphics online or fill out one from a box they're bringing to class and send a picture of it, or sometimes leave something in a chest or on a sign in minecraft. Throughout the years, no matter what heartbreak or various failed or even successful encounters with young love, they always had each other as a platonic valentines. Each year the messages paired with the valentines that pour out their appreciation and love for one another gets longer, and as they get older the graphics or cards they send to each other get more crude and inappropriate. And then S4pn4p moves in with Dr34m, and for the first time they get to give each other valentines cards in person. Dr34m proposes they make them homemade, so they get construction paper and crayons and scissors that cut funky patterns into paper and make heart shaped cards for each other. They both sweat way too much over it, trying their best to make something really cool and beautiful, with Dr34m layering different colored paper onto his to make it pop and drawing a panda face with a heart around it, and S4pn4p filling his with little doodles and phrases that reference inside jokes the two have accumulated over the years. When Dr34m is handed his valentine, he gets so overwhelmed from the amount of care put into it with S4pn4p's doddles and the simple but devastating message written on it that says "I think I was always meant to end up here, living with you, and I'm so excited for the next chapter of our lives together. Thank you for changing mine" that Dr34m is practically in tears and kisses S4pn4p on the cheek in thanks without thinking, making both of them blush. But maybe they were always supposed to end up here as well. Trading valentines with one another that hold years of friendship within them and the sparks of something that isn't only platonic anymore -🫐
