god Tsukasaverse is such a fun name for whatever this is, i just think we’re replicating that undertale selfcest au era of tumblr… don't ask me about that i wasn't involved in that i just observed like an underpaid anthropologist… a regular anthropologist. serial lurker moment.

So, people like to include other Tsukasas derived from cards aside of the ‘main’ ones (like Dreamer!Tsukasa, Pop!Tsukasa and whatever CurtainCall!Tsukasa is supposed to be) but i’ll list the ones i think have a more strong fanon presence (one could argue that komainukasa and maybe hakapega are more popular than romeokasa, but they does not exist in card form). Also, I like mess around with my interpretations since each one has to comply with its proper story and other plot-related stuff, but these are the ones I like exploring the most.

Tsukasa. Self explanatory. He’s a dude. What a nice dude he is (starts vibrating).

Romeokasa. From Kamikou Festival 1. A reckless warrior that fights tooth and nail for those things he believes are true, an accentuated canon Tsukasa with a title less worthy than KnighTsukasa but the arrogance of KingTsukasa. What a description. I once read a gore pixiv novel with this dude, he’s been in my ‘protect’ zone ever since. He’s paired with Phantom Thief Rui or Fes Rui.

Kemokasa. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a furry but he’s one of my favorites… With limited speech and an unlimited amount of energy, he’s a nice test subject to analyze for scientist Saki and her team of extraterrestrial explorers… I can’t believe Get Over It brought us a bit of kemokemo lore. He’s often seen with his little monster friends running around the place, they’re the only one who can understand him and vice versa. He doesn’t know much about human behavior but he’s capable of great things!! Believe in him!!! He’s paired with KemoRui or just Canon Rui. I pair him with Torpekasa sometimes because of reasons.

Hinakasa. Himekasa… Baby chick Tsukasa… he comes in a great number of flavors. He gained more popularity when Tactician Rui appeared and people realized that huh… ancient gays. I’ve always had trouble characterizing this fucker in a way that isn’t just Tsukasa 2.0 with jealousy issues. Bad news; he now has anxiety. Poor dude. He’s often seen with his little pegasus/unicorn friend that follows him around and is incredibly protective of him. Paired with Tactician/Strategist Rui, you can often see him in a poly or a third wheel with Dragonkasa. Man, tactician rui fucks.

Kingkasa. I find it funny that the Selfless-Tsukasa event (WMS) managed to create the most selfish Tsukasa for me, bitter irony. He’s Tsukasa’s arrogance when pushed to its very limits. The ambition-less only son runs his kingdom on his own accord and accepts no help. Paired with Buttler Rui (Wedding Rui) or Fes Rui.

White Lily Tsuka. He’s too ethereal for words. I just see him and go… that man is not human. Pure light attribute as they call him. White lilies are a symbol of purity and he reflects that pretty well, he’ll always be a personification of some concept to me. Above humanity yet craving to know more about them. He likes playing with Rui’s flowers and teasing him about his shyness. Paired with Black Lily Rui, he doesn’t have a choice.

Officerkasa.… huh this one is complicated because I don’t really think about him that often and he's one of those Tsukasas with a pseudo-personality due to his appearance in RMD’s performance so that makes most of the work for me, thank you Colopale. In a love-hate relationship with his Rui, he’s incredibly stubborn and dense and will stop at nothing until he gets what he wants in the name of justice or whatever he feels like, in reality he's nothing more than a government worker that has to keep track of the captured Staff Officer (Rui likes to make fun of him). I want him non-conned. Paired with Staff Officer Rui.

Knightkasa. My beloved… He takes his knight role incredibly seriously and although that means he clashes often with Rui, the only thing he wants is for Rui to stop playing around his corrosive magic and come to the light with him again. I’m often itching to make them childhood friends, I love corruption stories. Paired with SorcererRui okay thEY WERE MADE TO BE.

Torpekasa. Torpe-kun!! Oh I love him a lot. A complete 180 compared to Canon Tsukasa, Torpe is a reserved and timid pianist with as much potential as shyness, that lack of self confidence renders him unable to play in front of others… One aspect I exploit about him is the fact that he talks to the little forest animals and often gets teased by them, they let out the stubborn part of himself. Torpe is the only one who can understand Kemokasa and can also speak to Hinakasa’s little pegasus buddy. Paired with DanchouRui.

Dragonkasa. Qilinkasa… Ryuujinkasa… however you prefer him, I lean more into him being a Ryuujin because of jp peeps and also writing reasons. Tummy… pits (lies on the floor). Either he’s an arrogant idiot God or a benevolent God that loves humanity as much as he loves himself. Incredible powers because of the sheer number of followers he has. My favorite interpretation right now is that he’s an arrogant God because he’s full of unresolved issues. He’s a bit (too) possessive and you really don’t want to see him mad. He’s seen the horrors but he's a softie at heart. He’s paired with Canon Rui or TacticianRui, Hina is there sometimes too.

Wendykasa. Ah yes, Incest Yaoi. Wendykasa is probably the most mommy out of all of them for me, with hina and torpe fighting for second place. Being the oldest of three, he does his best to remain close to reality while still following his siblings around Neverland. Kind, patient and with a gentle voice that’s perfect for lullabies, he doesn’t try to tatter the familial bond with his siblings, the same can’t be said for them. Paired with JohnRui, what else did you expect.

Jesterkasa. Pierrotkasa. What a problem he presents to me, huh. I love him, he’s as arrogant as Kingkasa and often clashes with him but that’s because he lacks so much self-confidence in himself he feels he needs to make it up somehow. His little puppets are his only friends, he likes to talk to them when he’s alone. He’s paired with RingmasterRui or Fes Rui! As you can see, Fes Rui is very lonely, let’s hope Fes Tsukasa changes that…

Yokaikasa. Good things come in thirds. We get the regular Tsukasa who’s a diligent class president and a strong rule abider and his other two forms, a Tanuki and a Kitsune, two powerful yokais known for their shape shifting abilities. In the card illustrations interview for the set, the designers explain that Tsukasa is an actor who can also ‘change’ forms for a role, so he’d get along well with creatures that can also ‘change’ however they liked. That’s one of the main reasons I like the interpretation of this Tsukasa being a prim and proper student that gets possessed by two different yokais because he’s either 1) charismatic or 2) fun to mess around with. Whether he’s aware of it or not… it depends on what kind of ‘messes’ those yokais like to cause… He’s paired with Yokai Rui. I like to call them the hyakki yagyo duo. (they're called gashakori but hey... shh).
