Hey, kastel. Do you know where I could learn more about josou culture in english? I think it's an important topic especially these days with all the orientalism strong as ever and how people treated lily's character.
The most I know come from social media, but I know there's pieces like http://theconversation.com/japans-gender-bending-history-71545 which isn't exactly about josou culture but about how certain fashion trends like visual-kei show the need for discussions on how it's rarely "genderless" but more "gendermore".
