is it just me or does john and yoko’s relationship seem. a bit abusive and controlling on yoko’s part…?? things like denying him proper therapy, food (which led to undiagnosed eating disorders up until his death) , separating him from ppl he loved, doing a lot of shit to cyn and julian… idk!! what r your thoughts on it overall. i’m aware she was his muse and made him happy but it rubs me so wrong. she never apologised for anything she did too?
ohhh there’s so much i could say about this but the TLDR of my opinion is that, despite the love they shared that spawned a lot of beautiful art, john and yoko were horribly codependent on each other. i think yoko was the type of woman john always wanted due to his mommy issues & upbringing by aunt mimi (strong, in charge, challenged him) and yoko saw the influence she had on john and used it to her fullest degree. her treatment of cyn and julian in comparison to may’s treatment of them (and yoko’s alleged treatment of may in and of itself) pretty much speaks for itself in terms of how yoko saw john as “hers”. i highly doubt she’ll ever apologize for how she treated him either — she basically runs his estate, after all. she can and will continue to speak for him until she eventually passes too, and that’s like the most tragic logical endpoint to yoko’s control on him

100000000%, peter was also very much a scaredy cat squeamish kid while alice loved to roll around in the dirt making potions and forcing peter to try them

havana rose liu for SURE………. though i’d only want her to play juni if the biopic is juni-centric à la “priscilla (2023)” 🤔 in terms of charlie biopics, idk who should play her but i feel like juni would always feel conflicted about charlie biopics… even with the way their marriage turned out, she’s rather protective of his legacy

You might like this headcannon: Juniper and little Peter post Charlie. She's getting herself and Peter ready for an interview at a studio, till Peter dissapears. She looks for him everywhere till she finally finds him playing with another girl around his age. She asks her name. It's Sofia. The father finally pops up also looking for his daughter. His name if Francis.

Scenario I just pictured: you said that Juni used to go to her dad's office to listen to his records while he was working as a kid. She does the same for her kids except making a little play corner in her studio area and she talks to them or has them help out a bit on her paintings.
YES ABSOLUTELY 🥹🥹🥹🥹 she credits her father a lot for her love of music so she hopes to foster a love of art in her children… her letting them contribute to her paintings is so good too i love this 😭
