man i started out my entire life dreaming of being a songwriter or in a band/a singer. i pursued it pretty hard but i think my dream job is just something comfortable that pays me enough to travel and buy fun treats. like i dont know what an actual dream job looks like for me anymore, but i do legitimately love where i'm at so maybe something like what i'm doing but double the pay XD

and as far as a bucket list... man idk i've already gone down a ton of the ones that i put aside back in the day, and now in my 30's i think my approach to things that seem like a rare opportunity and take them? or if it was something i really wanted when i was a little kid, to just try and make it work

planning on going to an aquarium and doing one of those shark dives things next year because i've always wanted to swim with sharks, but that's a much safer way than approaching one in the ocean lmao.

unfortunately i don't think i can go skydiving like my younger self wanted to do, not with my health issues... but you know? that's ok too

it depends on the project - smaller ones can be done in one day, but things with 10k+ words (or like. the doctor fic, or something i've written/havent posted that is longer like that) i do have a whole process.
i will start with an idea or scene i really want to get to, and then create a rough outline on how i would like it to go. there are usually some snags when i actually write things out - for example, i was stuck on how to injure mika in the doctor fic. i knew i wanted him to get stitches (literally what i had written down for the outline) but didn't know what the cause should've been. i had a few different scenarios written out, and i talked it out over dinner with a friend!
i either have a spreadsheet (i have a REALLY intricate one for the fantasy au) or a bunch of bullet points written out (like the vampire fic im working on). i don't usually pants something unless it's a shorter oneshot - i like to know exactly where i'm going and really love to sneak in some crumbs for people who catch them!

once i had a chapter done and the majority of the next one finished up (or when it was completed for the shorter stories), i sent it over to my beta reader and he would mark it to hell and shame me for my excessive m dashes.
i still owe them the world

honestly? i see myself at the same job, likely in a marketing position rather than in customer service though as that's the route I think I will end up taking (rather than sales like i thought previously). i enjoy the place i am at and don't think i will find anything comparable in the near future, at least one that is so good to its employees (technically it's a small business. it's really cool to be on first-name basis with the CEO and listened to about actual business decisions etc)

hopefully i will have a different living situation, but i'm not sure if it is realistic to expect to be able to own a house in five years. i think i will have enough for a nice down payment, especially if i buy a place with my current roomie, but i don't plan for it to be so soon.
it would be cool to have a partner by then too, but i'm not really in a rush.
