yusuke is such a wild dude in this really understated way that i enjoy so much. i just love characters who are bombastic and march to their own drum, and his arc and personality really resonated with me. ryuji resonates with me in a different way in that there was some eerie overlap with personal life stuff that initially put me off from his character, which is ironic bc i am also weak to friendship delinquents, but i eventually came around. hes too endearing! a good guy! and then their dynamic together hits a sweet spot for me. like how can i chose a fave thing when i love everything so much. sorry it sounds like a cop out but its true
